we're watching UP and the little old man is coming down the stairs on the stair lift and we have a discussion about what it is and why someone would need to use it. after this luke looks up from his bristle blocks and goes,
"gramma needs one of those. she's pretty old now."
to which i go,
"do you mean granny? because she's getting pretty old and if she had stairs something like that would help her a lot."
to which he shakes his head and says,
"no, granny's very old. but gramma's pretty old. she needs one of those."
hee-hee-hee. gramma's 55. i love me some four year old perspective. from luke's perspective i must be getting ready for menopause and a few weeks away from getting my first shiny aarp card in the mail.
mmmm, old people discounts. this could work for me.

haha! love kids.
You know I just turned thirty on Monday, right?
Ask him how old thirty is.
No, don't tell me.
I remember when my mom turned thirty, I cried because I thought she was getting old and going to die. Yep. I even told her so. I don't know why she even still speaks to me. :)
(sorry 'bout the deletin', I flubbed a word)
