it's been a week to remember -
or try really hard to forget.
lots and lots of to-do's,
always the countless to-do's.
so many more to check off than the ones we've already done.
but with the kids run away to a slumber party at their grandparents,
we found ourselves alone and without a to-do in sight -
(well, we just sort of pushed them to the side for the evening)...
and we ran away to the movies and stumbled upon a happy accident -
if you buy your tickets at bravo farms you get matinee prices...
hmmm, am i the last person to know this?
we were thrilled and snuck our yummy gourmet-ness into the theater
without so much as a blink of guilt -
they sell the tickets at a sandwich/cheese shop for goodness sakes!
anyhoo, lots of hand holding and contentness was had.
i needed that.
tomorrow will come and there will be so much to do,
but tonight, tonight we just had ourselves to manage.
it was bliss.

ps: i wore taupe and gold eye shadow with a hint of brown liner and mascara.
mostly because i wanted an underplayed eye
and because i was wearing a wonderful wheat colored sweater.
