this is luke holding annabelle.
he always wants to hold her.
he is at a sleepover with his gramma and papa and sister and cousins right now -
and he was bummed that annabelle wouldn't be at the sleepover as well.
his other cousin, "baby leila", is a must as well.
the entire time cody and jj were here (staying next door),
luke would wake up every morning and ask if he could go play with her.
when we started the adoption process we knew they wanted siblings.
and i always worried that they would be disappointed when a baby showed up,
and not a full grown sibling to play with.
but luke and charlie want babies.
they wouldn't have it any other way.
luke has picked names, designed their bedroom (he KNOWS he/she will be a boy)
and talks about all the things they will do together someday.
but for now, he just wants a baby to hold.
and for now, we want so badly for him to have that.
but life is what it is.
and we know where our baby is right now.
and we know that it will take patience and lots of it to bring him/her home.
lots and lots of patience.
i'll fill you in on where we are in the process of adopting
and how the timetable keeps growing.
